QueryCrumbs for Google Scholar: Search History Visualization
QueryCrumbs for Google Scholar is a Chrome add-on developed by Christopher Satchell. It offers a compact visualization of your recent Google Scholar search history. With QueryCrumbs, each search query is represented by a Crumb, making it easy to track and compare your searches.
The Crumbs in QueryCrumbs are color-coded based on the similarity of the search results on the first page. If two queries have similar results, their Crumbs will have the same color. Hovering over a Crumb displays the corresponding query, allowing you to quickly reference past searches. Additionally, when you hover over a Crumb, it is compared to all other Crumbs, and the fill levels indicate the percentage of equal results.
QueryCrumbs also provides convenient functionality for re-issuing a query or deleting it. You can simply click on a Crumb to re-issue the query, and a double-click will delete it from your search history.
Please note that this version of QueryCrumbs is for evaluation purposes only and anonymously tracks all interactions with the Crumbs.
